Dorrian’s Red Hand, located at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City, is hosting two comedy shows on Saturday, April 23rd at 7:00PM and 9:00PM. The Laugh Tour is hosted by comedian Rich Kiamco and will feature Cynthia Levin from Comedy Central, Gus Constantellis from Nickelodeon + TikTok, Troy Alan from Edinburgh Festival, and Luke Thayer from Sirius XM. Show tickets purchased online in advance of the show are $15 and are $20 the day of and at the door with a two-item minimum per person. Additional shows with other comedians to take place the rest of April and May. Please note, the doors to the exterior are ajar for ventilation with a fireplace on the inside (indoor comedy events still require proof of vaccination with ID). The Boys + Girls Clubs of Hudson County was founded in 1893 to create a positive place for the youth of Jersey City, NJ. In the 126 years since the Club has expanded its scope exponentially by offering a mix of nationally developed programs and activities. Getting to and from a healthcare facility in the event of an emergency is not something people think of until the time comes. Thankfully, one non-profit in Hoboken has this covered, but only with the help of volunteers. The Hoboken Ambulance Corps is a 100% volunteer-based, free resource for the community. The American Red Cross has been ready to respond in times of disaster for decades, and the COVID-19 crisis is no different. More than ever, the American Red Cross is in need of volunteers to help us all get through this time together. Drivers are needed to safely transport lifesaving blood from local blood drives to hospitals. Volunteers are asked to commit to 2-4 shifts per month with each shift being about 4 hours. All volunteers must have a valid driver’s license, at least 3 years of a clean driving record, and should be able to lift at least 45lbs. Learn more here.
