"Island gurl" hints brighter than the Bahamas sun

In this series, beauty expert John-Paul Ricchio (John-Paul Ricchio) focused on some of the most fascinating beauty fans in the world, and asked them to share the products they can not do without. Next up: celebrity chef Raquel Fox.

Raquel Fox grew up in the Bahamas and is happy to spend time in the kitchen with his grandmother. She learned how to prepare Caribbean specialties such as conch, chowder, oxtail and lobster. Although she likes to make food, she never thought that she would become a famous chef when she grew up.

"I always knew that even when I was a kid, I would please viewers on TV in a certain capacity," she said. "I thought it would be acting, because I have always liked acting in musicals, but I never thought it would be cooking!"

As a live food expert, Fox attracted the audience with its lively personality and full-flavored dishes. (Her recipe "Paradise Restaurant" is the perfect antidote to "what's for dinner?" Fatigue. The same is true for the Island Gurl Foods Caribbean sauce series launched in supermarkets across the country this fall.)

Appearing in front of the camera also gave Fox a chance to play with and experiment with her beauty-this is another passion of her. Here, she spilled the contents of her cosmetic bag and shared her techniques for preparing close-ups.

"Skin care is very important to me," Fox said. When it comes to washing off all TV cosmetics, she chooses this medicinal-grade cleanser, even for the most sensitive skin types.

Fox uses these latex-free sponges from Canadian brand Meeks Designs to seamlessly blend her makeup. They absorb less products than some other sponges on the market, which can save you money in the long run.

Flawless coverage and a satin finish that lasts for a full 36 hours. The most important thing is: "It's not heavy at all," said Fox, who calls herself a "MAC girl." Psst, in order to get the gilded luster, she likes to use this high-gloss powder golden deposit on her cheekbones and brow bones.

"MAC 48 eyelashes are a must for me because someone told me to communicate with my eyes," said the TV personality.

Six shades to shape, shape and enhance. It is exactly what you need to define those cheekbones.
