The uniform is specially formulated to withstand the heat and humidity that athletes will face in Tokyo, and uses the iconic Australian green and gold color scheme.

The design and development of uniforms began in 2018, and more than 125,000 pieces of clothing and footwear have been produced for Australia's largest ever Olympic team.

It is expected that a team of approximately 480 athletes, coaches and support staff from more than 30 sports will wear uniforms at the opening of the Olympic Games 100 days later.

When talking about uniforms, Asics Oceania MD Mark Brunton said that the company is proud of designing uniforms for the team.

"Asics has invested a lot of work, details and focus in the design and development of the Australian Olympic uniforms to ensure that athletes representing the highest level feel that they can perform at their best. "We look forward to seeing the Australian team dressed in green. And golden, proudly represent our country on the largest stage in the world," he said.

However, the uniform not only meets the performance requirements of the athletes, but also helps Asics achieve its sustainable development goals.

In line with Asics' corporate sustainable development goals, it is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in direct operations by 38% by 2030, and 30% of the AOC series are made of recycled polyester.

The uniform collection also includes a shirt whose design incorporates the designs of Aboriginal artist and Olympic boxer Paul Fleming (Paul Fleming). The design is called "Hand in Hand" and includes the footprints of 52 indigenous athletes who have participated in the Olympic Games, as well as a central meeting place symbolizing the Olympic Games, bringing together people from different countries, backgrounds and cultures.

Maurice Longbottom (Rugby) wears an Asics jersey with Paul Fleming's design printed on it.

"Asics has always been an excellent partner, working with our Olympic sports and athletes to develop this world-class uniform," added Ian Chesterman, head of the Australian Tokyo Olympic delegation. "Asics has an incredible Olympic pedigree and has been at the forefront of athlete-centric sports technology for more than 70 years. "We are fortunate that they are now assisting our athletes to bring their passion for high performance and excellence. To our team to help our athletes have their best day in Tokyo's most important day," he said.

To celebrate this release, Asics invited Australian Olympic and Tokyo contestants Charlotte Caslick, Henry Hutchison and Maurice Longbottom (rugby sevens), Jake Birtwhistle (triathlon), Katie Ebzery (basketball), Lisa Darmanin (sailing) , Aidan "AJ" Roach (Water Polo), Marina Carrier (Modern Pentathlon), Lucy Stephan (Boating) and Tom O'Halloran (Sports Climbing) show their uniforms in front of the Sydney Opera House.

The Tokyo Olympics will open on July 23.
