Pokémon UNITE will add a lot of Christmas-themed content, as well as Dragonite, a fan favorite of new playable characters.

A new trailer on the official Pokémon UNITE YouTube channel showcases the game content this holiday season. The biggest new feature in the game is the dragon-shaped dragon with the sweetest face.

Crustle and Pokémon Pikachu also have new costumes for their faces. The former is dressed a bit like Christmas pudding, with Santa-style oven mitts on its paws, while the electric mouse Pokémon wears a Santa-style red coat and cone hat.

Garchomp, Mamoswine, Gardevoir, Blastoise and Dragonite all seem to have Santa hats that they can wear. The last one is wearing a red ribbon and a satchel. The event will start later this month, on December 15th, and the trailer is as follows:

Elsewhere in the game, the main arena has undergone a winter transformation, the battlefield is covered with snow and frost, and the barrier has turned into ice. Christmas costumes have also been added to your coach, and the main menu has become more festive.

A not-so-cold addition to the game is a series of Pokémon chef uniforms such as Snorlax, Cramorant and Mr. Mime. The trainer can also match the chef outfit.

This is the second theme event for Nintendo Switch and mobile games. In October, there is a Halloween themed event that adds greed and new cosmetics such as pumpkin Pikachu masks. Last month, Decidueye joined Pokémon UNITE, a remote Pokémon, making Dragonite the 29th character to be added to the roster.

In other news, another orange character has been added to the game. Garfield, a cat who likes lasagna, is about to participate in the Nickelodeon All-Star Fight.
