"Masterchef" has been renewed for season 12 on Fox. The judges of Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez and Joe Bastianich will all return in the new season.

"Obviously, Gordon is a good friend, considering the recently launched Studio Ramsay Global, which is an important part of Fox's programming and growth strategy," said Rob Wade, president of alternative entertainment and special programming at Fox Entertainment. "'Masterchef', Gordon, Aarón and Joe, and our excellent partners at ESNA, are vital to Fox’s DNA. Even in season 11, this show is still distinguished by maintaining Fox’s success on Wednesday this summer Impressed. We expect this momentum to continue next year, when "Master Chef" will usher in the well-deserved 12th season."

Per Fox, the cooking competition series currently has an average of 5 million viewers per episode in multi-platform viewing. "Masterchef" is produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato, based on the format created by Franc Roddam. Elisabeth Murdoch, Natalka Znak, Danny Schrader, Ramsay, Pat Llewellyn, Ben Adler, Sharon Levy, DJ Nurre and Shyam Balsé serve as executive producers.

The renewal was announced two weeks after Fox and Ramsay announced the establishment of a new joint venture, Studio Ramsay Global. According to the agreement, Studio Ramsay Global will develop, produce and distribute cooking and lifestyle programs for Fox, Tubi and other outlets around the world. The company will be positioned as the flagship entity of Fox's and Ramsay, collecting its brand, intellectual property and resources in the field of global cooking and lifestyle projects. The company will have offices in London and Los Angeles and will now serve as the exclusive production base for all new series that Ramsey features and/or produces.
