It wasn't the usual delivery on Monday for Andover's Pizza Chef restaurant.

Andover EMS helped welcome baby Everett on Monday in an emergency delivery.

Everett’s parents were on their way to the hospital when they realized they wouldn't make it.

They stopped outside the restaurant and called the volunteer fire department for help.

“That was our first, the crew that was on, that was our first experience with that. Went smooth, were ready when baby arrived,” said Andrew Perkins, chief of Andover EMS. “It was interesting. The crew that was there did a great job assisting.”

The family shared photos of Everett with News 9, showing that both baby and his mom are healthy and doing well.
